While this is a logical step, the demands on a thesis of those of a paper in a peer review academic journal differ in a very important way. Elseviers Researcher Academy recently hosted a live webinar to transform their doctoral thesis into an article. In this webinar, dr. Adolfo Cuevas, Assistant Professor at Tufts University, dr. Cecily Betz, editor-in-chief of Journal of Pediatric Willing, and Dawn, editor in Elsevier, discussed eight Golden tips to help them transform their work into a research paper for publishing in a journal.

Some of the differences between the articles and theses are pretty clear - consider word limits and detail of the detail you should apply in your study. However, others are less obvious.
